The UNIVERSE Historic Corridor presents a journey through 34 historic destinations between Porto and Valladolid, following the Douro–Duero axis and revealing the continuity of a territory shaped by centuries of history, culture and tradition.

Along this route, we travel through medieval villages, historic cities, castles, fortified walls, churches, monasteries and cultural landscapes, from the Portuguese Douro to the historic communities of Zamora and Castile. The itinerary includes places such as Pinhão, Provesende, Favaios, Miranda do Douro, Fermoselle, Arribes del Duero, Zamora, Toro and Valladolid, among many other destinations that form part of this great corridor.

More than a tourist route, it is a journey through the historic heritage of the Douro, from medieval villages to monumental cities, highlighting the cultural connections that unite both sides of the border.
